The picture is beautiful, but the plot and characters are very bland, and the time Heidi and grandpa spend together occupy less than half of the entire movie. I can't describe enough about the influence Grandpa brought to Heidi. I feel like this story is a bit too sloppy. Is there something wrong with my aesthetics? The actors are all good actors, but the plot feels too bland. Little Heidi is kind and straightforward, but Grandpa really talks too little about the bond between her and her. There should be more stories in the original book, but unfortunately the movie time is limited and cannot be fully described. My score is 8.2.
