I have to admit that the French have always made literary films, and the whole film well expounds the theme of "beasts are not beasts". At first glance, the filming technique is a little clumsy, and the connection between the various processes of the story development is also a little blunt. But as the story goes to the end, after recalling, the mountain people in the story, the foreign Germans and the fleeing stowaways, all met unexpectedly in a short period of time.
