The film set a box office record for local films in Russian film history with 3 billion rubles [4]. In the final of the 1972 Olympic basketball tournament in Munich, with three seconds to go, the U.S. team had a one-point lead and had already begun to celebrate early because they believed the result was a foregone conclusion. However, the Soviet national team struggled in the final three seconds to reverse the game.

The United States said before the game: This is not just a game, this is an ideological war, showing that democracy will eventually win. The players of the Soviet team had no national identity with the Soviet Union. They said before the game: No one believes we can win, except our coach. He broke the boat for us, so we can't live up to it. The team that advocates individualism is eager for quick success, but the so-called "monolithic" collective is full of humanitarian spirit (for the United States, it must be the other way around)
