The entire viewing process is heart-wrenching, and sometimes blood boils. After reading it, I joked with my husband that this is the second film and television about basketball I've watched since watching "Slam Dunk" in high school. Sure enough, it was very catchy.
The protagonist, Garland, is very fleshy, with respect, enthusiasm and confidence in basketball that everyone else in the film and I believe in.
Lots of details are great. For example, when I went to the United States to compete, I encountered street basketball first and suffered a crushing defeat. Later in the finals, those street basketball people were spectators, and their reactions and words were too funny. As well as contact lenses, closed needles, etc., all make people feel emotional.
