I watched the movie more than 10 years ago. I only remember that when I was young, I was deeply moved by the short, calm but touching emotions in the story.

At the end of the movie, after George found out that he had a brain tumor, he returned to Lace's home in the small town. He comforted Lace and hoped that his beloved Lace would pursue new happiness and continue to fulfill his wish. So he grew up in that tree. Accompanying him to grow up under the apple tree, comforting her and her daughter (single parent), An apple will rot and decay if thrown on the ground, but if they were to take a bite out of it, the apple would become a part of them, and they would carry it with them forever.

What a broken plot, Travolta can't show his acting skills in this film at all!
