look back at yourself

A film that people say is environmentally friendly goes beyond that. In some ways we may even be inferior to parasitic beasts. Not as brave as they are, not as real as they are, not even as compassionate as they are. There are still a few people who are willing to sacrifice their lives to protect nature, and fight heroically because of the harsh living environment or the injustice they have encountered. How many people are addicted to money and forget themselves? It is true that for too long people have only focused on themselves, they have become selfish and numb. The overall environment is destroyed because of the gradual obsession and madness of each individual, perhaps because more and more people paint the world with a black world that slowly turns black. But people are often reluctant to admit their mistakes and expose their hypocrisy and evil. But no matter what, parasitic beasts will fall in love with human beings and even give their lives for human beings, we should always believe in the power of conscience in everyone's heart. Only in this way can it truly be like what the parasitic beast boss said: realize that it is human beings who want to protect all living beings.

2016.08.26, the 125-minute domestic release version, which is a good choice, is much better than the previous Japanese version. Emotional power once again triumphed over the evil spirits.

It turned out that the version temporarily circulating on the Internet was a TV special edition (in fact, the official DVD was released only in 4.29). Since the original author also participated in the screenwriting, it would be redundant to discuss whether to be loyal to the original work. I feel that the film version is more of a "self-reference" to the original, which is interesting to justify it. Also, I think the movie does a great job of casting male actors. As Ryoko said in the film: "We each have our own personalities."
