After finishing the experiment at noon, I came back to watch a movie to lighten the load on the hard disk. Today I watched [Sunny Days], a work by Wang Shuo directed by Jiang Wen. How should I put it - to sum it up in one sentence, the movie makes me think that it is the phantom of youth. Didn't like this movie very much. Although it is very likely to be beaten for saying this, I still want to express my own views on this classic movie.
Although Wang Shuo's works are particularly suitable for film and television, the control of the rhythm and the plot is very important. It does not mean that Jiang Wen is not good at this. It's just that it may be inferior to Zhang Yuan. This has to be derived from the most annoying comparison. Zhang Yuan and Jiang Wen both shot Wang Shuo's works. Jiang Wen adapted the early work [Ferocious Animals]. There are many youthful bitterness, sorrow and sweetness in the works, but the whole work seems immature; although Zhang Yuan's selection seems to be more It's an adventurous children's theme, but [it looks beautiful] is definitely not a children's film. I think a person matures, and the angle of thinking about problems should be much deeper.
The second is subjective intention. I think whether a movie is touching is not how beautiful and moving the story is; it is whether the plot in it will resonate with you, whether there is a shadow of you in the moment, and then it is the question of being moved. My childhood was literally a replica of [Looks Beautiful], so Fang Gun Gun was able to pull up my childhood memories, which made me feel a lot. And when I was a teenager, I wasn't so restless. I don't fight, I don't go crazy, I don't pursue so aggressively, fantasize about a girl. If you have desire, you can solve it with masturbation, and if you have anxiety, you can solve it by listening to music. There was nothing special about my youth. It wasn't as peaceful as my childhood, and there were even some bitter memories: some tossing sorrows, some annoying women, some tangled problems. It seems to be so messed up. Fortunately, there are still some sweet memories. Those sweet memories will be rooted in my heart, and their shelf life will be hundreds of millions of years.
Finally, I was dissatisfied with Jiang Wen, who directed the film. Although the clues of the whole film are the reality and imagination of an adolescent child, I feel that the structure and context of the narrative is very similar to the style of experimental films. Especially the part that shows the alienation of friends is when Xia Yu jumped off the platform and fell into the water. Wanting to struggle, it was everyone's hands at first, and then it was constantly being logged into the water. Totally experimental film style. Jiang Wen's ambitions are too big, and a movie can't accommodate so many things, so don't hold on. So the overall style feels messy, and I'm too willing to accept this movie.
Although I didn't like the movie very much, some of the scenes were quite memorable. The funny thing is that Feng Xiaogang's cameo role as a teacher is particularly funny, and the part where Wang Shuo plays the role of a ruffian in Beijing, I can only say in his voice, "Hey! What a fucking pervert! Are you such an idiot?"
