Tribute to those days gone by

I originally watched this film for the starring role of Feng Xiaogang. As an actor, Director Feng had seen the axe dance in Kung Fu and Du Yuesheng in the founding of the People's Republic of China. To say that Du Yuesheng in those few minutes was really a bit level and interesting. . This time, Director Feng really proved that, acting, we can do it.

As a typical character image, in fact, most people don't want their relatives and neighbors to be such an "old Pao'er", after all, the word "Old Pao'er" is also used to refer to those repeat offenders who enter the palace. To put it bluntly, such people are the "bad people" in the legends of daily life. They don't do their job properly, they cause trouble, and if they weren't one of them, they might have to be bullied by them. From a common sense, this is a story of a bad guy getting old.

However, this story hits two points, one is the market of Beijing flavor, and the other is the justness of blood that knows it can't be done. (And for me, a few times the brooding silhouette of Feng Dao's character on the screen reminded me of my aging father in the face of embarrassment, even though he was just a more ordinary and honest retiree.) Whether the market is good or not, from my personal experience, I tend to feel that it is not very exciting. Neighbors seem to be polite and affectionate. In fact, whoever has an extra 5 cm of wall can make a brain. However, who really has it? No matter what the trouble is, there are people who really help - in fact, there is no real right and wrong, and there are no strict rules and regulations, just make it crowded. But in order for everyone to make do with it, there are indeed rules of their own, including "mian'er", which itself is a very broad basket, including those rules discussed by Uncle Six. I have seen a real incident once, when I went to the supermarket to buy something, a middle-aged and elderly man called you because the cashier didn’t address you, and he insisted on talking to there for at least 20 minutes, saying that the rules are broken now that the world is getting worse and worse. It's you and me, the three of them." Let me tell you, yelling in public is really unruly. I just went back to work in Beijing before, and the old lady told me that when you ask for directions outside, you should address each other well. You want me to tell me about this, it's not fucking inhuman, it's not suitable for you to ignore me, but I can't help but point me in the ditch. In the film, at the beginning of the section asking for directions; the sixth uncle went to his son and asked for a box of imitation snacks, and asked Yanghuo to borrow money, but he didn’t say it straight, and secondly, he felt that the other party’s attitude was inappropriate, not only did he not Appreciation also pout people. These things are out of date, but they are also "faces".

However, it doesn't matter whether the real Beijing-style market is good or not, the important thing is that it is almost gone, so it becomes romantic and sad and nostalgic. Regardless of whether the ancestors played in the Qing Dynasty or the Republic of China, they took root in Beijing. As long as they move into a new-style community, this way of life and form will not support this style. At the same time, regardless of whether it is Guijie or Houhai, Dongcheng or Xicheng Hutong, Beijing dialect is becoming less and less, and various dialects are more and more. The new way of life will always replace the old way of life, but the things we used to know and identify with are gone, and we will still feel sad and bewildered - why this is so.

So on this basis, Uncle Six's inexplicable insistence also turned into a kind of bloody just that he knew it was impossible. His son was missing. He didn't call the police, but made his own money; pooled money; The hospital insisted on dying twice; people blocked the door and chased them; until the final fight. Logically speaking, they have reported what they are still doing, but the sixth uncle went to the fight in a religious manner and made a "confession", which is also the kind of breath that relives his glorious days. From explaining the funeral (rolling a paper roll and throwing it in the bar), to cheering the ostrich on the road, to finally falling into the middle of the glacier, this unreasonable and willful behavior will make us feel sympathy and moved - although not at all It makes sense, but it can persist to this extent!

At the same time, it is not only the last scene on the ice that touches people, but also those behaviors that are twisted and clouded, because no matter what age, if we are honest, we will see that this is our life, and there is no truth in reality. It can be used to the end - encountering a begging girl on the side of the road, maybe suddenly I am a child and a child of others, and when I see a hairy child who doesn't know how to say "you", I will break my finger and "educate and educate your parents", a fleeting thought , is nothing more than a little selfish. And this little bit of selfishness, we all have it.

Feng Xiaogang, Wang Shuo, Jiang Wen, Cui Jian, He Yong, Tranquility... These people were once a memory of our youth, and they were pioneers at that time. But we're getting old, and they're getting old, not so glamorous anymore. There is a characteristic of getting old, that is, "When I was young", so Jiang Wen had "One Step Away", so Guan Hu's "Old Pao'er" made Feng Xiaogang stand up. However, whether it is Ma Zuori or Uncle Six, no matter how much you talk about "rules", you can only die with regret, and the world continues to roar forward indifferently.
