dark matter review

The name Dark Matter sounds intimidating, but the movie didn't do that well. The story is told completely, but it lacks expressiveness and appeal.
Recently, I was researching the topic of depression. In the "Human Behaviour and Social Environment" class, I talked about Li Lili at the University of Science and Technology Beijing, which reminded me of this movie, so I finished watching it on the morning of April 30.
I think, "dark matter" not only refers to the research topic of the male protagonist Liu Xing, but also refers to a ghost wandering around the world. It is a pervasive negative energy.
The protagonist is diligent and smart, entered PKU from an ordinary working family, and then went to the United States to study for a Ph.D. In the eyes of the world, this is a very good person. However, he did not graduate in time due to differences of opinion in his graduation thesis. Looking at Laurence (the Chinese who changed his name, I don't remember his Chinese name...) who came to the United States to study at the same time, he established a family in the United States, and he also stood in the right academic line and walked well. But what he thought was a major discovery was not recognized, and he couldn't find a decent job, so he had to sell perfume and hand cream to make money. A wave of dissatisfaction and resentment (the so-called dark matter) enveloped him. Because of the depression caused by this disappointment, he finally pulled the trigger on those who made his heart ache and chose to end his own life.
Liu Xing and Li Li, both of whom had their graduation postponed, came from relatively poor families. This kind of depression comes from the huge gap between imagination and reality. However, in the face of this gap, not only do they not get the support and care of the family system, but a sense of responsibility makes them report good news instead of bad news, and do their best to their real life. The power of beautification. This made him feel more and more frightened and fearful in his heart. They couldn't afford to lose, and they were afraid that they would fall heavily from the eyes of the world, so they began to deceive, blame themselves, and start a deeper fear.
"Fear makes you a prisoner, hope sets you free" - The Shawshank Redemption
Many problems are like the ridge of a roof, where people, with a little movement, will either slide to one side or the other. There are many people born with a natural fear of setbacks (I seem to be such a person, it seems that I have to optimize myself), and this kind of fear will make people feel at a loss, go to the doctor in a hurry, and lead to the destruction of the order, Deviant behavior was formed.
To be honest, in the last few minutes of the movie, seeing the male protagonist shoot at Laurence and the professor, I feel a kind of pleasure rising inside...
All in all, what we have to do is "Overcome Fear (Inner Tendency) - Perfection Support (external care) - establish order (world foundation) - earnestly live (existence, operation)"
In this case, the existing external order is very fragile, and there is no safety net to prevent members from falling, so those who lose I can’t afford it, and I’m afraid of losing, but an order that is too strong will lead to centralization and suppress individual autonomy and freedom.
The establishment of order in the inner world is a long process. I think it requires reading a lot of books, appreciating a lot of works of art, and living long enough to have sufficient life experience. The order of the inner world is the kind of thought that makes people not confused about life. It is the abstraction and arrangement of the three views, and the overall understanding of everything. It can illuminate the world and allow us to know why we live, so as to be peaceful. Live calmly and fully.
I think it's better not to stray and do stupid things until you understand these things (that is, before the construction of self-order is realized). Before figuring out whether the laws and morals are unified with the world order, let's be a quiet and silent small city nanzi by obeying the law and supporting the secular morality. But this does not mean that the exploration of order should stop.
The meaning of the previous paragraph can be summed up in the life experience of the elders - making a fortune in silence.
