The protagonist Peter resigned and returned home to accompany his wife and daughter, but he didn't know that they had already died. They were shot by Jack and his accomplices who lived across from them. From the beginning to the middle of the movie, the audience thinks Peter is the murderer who killed his wife and daughter step by step. It was not until the end that the murderer was confessed to someone else. Libby shot Peter accidentally when Peter was fighting with the killer. Peter was later identified as the murderer. He also has a fantasy identity "William". Fortunately, at the end of the movie, one of Jack and him was shot and the other was burned to death. After Peter and the blonde girl escaped from the fire, they returned to the fire and said goodbye reluctantly to their two daughters and Libby. The ending is also considered satisfactory.
