It's a historically penetrating film

Today, I revisited this work of art again, and suddenly found another great thing that was overlooked. There are two lines that are very suitable for the scene--"If chqina wants to nuclear platform, it must obey the rules (to smuggle) to get chips ";"A war between the US and China will break out in 20 years (the movie was released in 2006, very historical spoilers given the current situation?). Simply genius???

Also, it's been nearly twenty years, can you believe it? Why do I feel like it was made in the 10's? Great art is one that can be etched into the heart as if it were yesterday.

The splendor of the stars in the movie is now astounding. Different from the so-called stars in the current Marvel Comics film series, the stars in this work are really leading actors in well-known works or even great works. The identity, Titanic, The Shining, life and death sniping, source code... are all classics in the classics. And these great actors can work together seamlessly, perform with publicity, and flesh out a simple story into a work of art that spans time and space. Thank you so much?

The Departed quotes

  • Dignam: [during a conference briefing about Costello and his crew] My theory on Feds is that they're like mushrooms, feed 'em shit and keep 'em in the dark

  • Oliver Queenan: [during Costigan's interview] Do you know what we do here? My section?

Billy Costigan: Sir, yes, sir. I have an idea...

Dignam: [interrupting] Whoa, whoa, whoa. Let's say you have no idea and leave it at that, okay? No idea. Zip. None. If you had an idea of what we do, we would not be good at what we do, now would we? We would be cunts. Are you calling us cunts?

Oliver Queenan: Staff Sergeant Dignam has a style of his own. I'm afraid we all have to get used to it.
