Heroes live forever

Braveheart has the best soundtrack of any movie I've ever seen! The highly expressive Scottish bagpipes sounded at every critical moment of the film, from the mourning of the father's funeral to the neighing of the warhorse in the middle of the battlefield, to the sincere call of the hometown, until the hero's strong feelings of seeing death as home... Music rendering is natural, there are no lines but only spiritual communication, the impact of thinking... A kind of reverence is born out of it, and it is deeply infected by Wallace's heroic spirit forever!

Except for the freeeeedom at the end of the film, the theme of the fight for freedom is really rare.

Feeling bloody, Sophie Marceau’s eyes are stunning

Braveheart quotes

  • Princess Isabelle: I understand you have recently been given the rank of knight.

William Wallace: I have been given nothing. God makes men what they are.

  • William Wallace: [after Hamish drops a boulder at Wallace's feet] You dropped your rock.

    Hamish: Test of manhood.

    William Wallace: You win.

Hamish: Call it a test of soldiery then. The English won't let us train with weapons, so we train with stones.
