brave Heart

It's super touching, and the last sentence of freedom is super shocking, that's how much pain you have to endure and how strong your heart can be. I like Wallace's bravery, knowing that all the trials and tribulations are in front of me, but I just want to face it regardless. I like his iron-blooded tenderness, fighting for love, even at the cost of his life. I like his calmness in the face of death and resolutely not betray his heart. Love him fighting for freedom like a hero. He said that every man dies, but not every man lives, the meaning of his life may be freedom, or he may not turn back after losing love. But until the last moment of his life, even though he suffered great pain, he wanted to keep his steadfast and brave spirit forever in people's hearts.

It seems that in life, people always say to be a kind and brave person. But for most people, this is just a good wish. In real life, who dares to say that he can be absolutely brave, not to say that he would devote his life to pursue the faith in his heart, and he may not even be able to stick to his heart. That's what makes the movie so touching, because people want to be brave, pure, heroic, but they can't afford that. For the rest of your life, good wishes can only be a faint light lingering in your heart.

Extraordinary, five-star strength. The details and structure are very solid, which frees up space for the actors to perform in their performances, allowing Mel Gibson to enjoy the drama. I really like the little humor in the scenes during the crisis. Mel Gibson is really good at grasping the rhythm and the psychology of the audience. It is simply a living leadership manual, and no matter how good leaders are, they will face frame-ups.

Scottish epic film, fighting for freedom. Everyone will die, but not everyone has ever really lived

Braveheart quotes

  • Longshanks: My son's loyal wife returns, unkilled by the heathen.

  • William Wallace: [after being outthrown] That's a good throw.

    Hamish: Aye. Aye, it was.

William Wallace: I was wondering if you could do that when it matters.

    [Hamish stares at him]

William Wallace: As it - as it matters in battle.

    [Hamish continues staring]

William Wallace: Could you crush a man with that throw?

Hamish: I could crush you, like a worm.

    Crowd: Oooohhh!

    William Wallace: You could?

    Hamish: Aye.

William Wallace: Well, then do it.

    [to the crowd]

William Wallace: Would you like to see him crush me like a worm?

    [the crowd cheers]

    Murron: Aye!

William Wallace: [picks up a small stone] Come do it.

    Hamish: You'll move.

    William Wallace: I will not.

    Hamish: Right.

    Campbell: He'll move.

    Morrison: Come on, Hamish!

    Campbell: Come on there, boy!

[Hamish throws the stone but misses the unflinching Wallace]

Campbell: [pointing at Wallace] Well done!

[Wallace throws his stone hitting Hamish's head]

    Hamish: Ah!

    Crowd: Oooh!

    Campbell: Fine display, young Wallace!
