The new version of Superman is a retelling of the story, not a continuation of the old version, and there is a lot of room for revision in the narrative. The first part of the movie tells a complete story of the destruction of Krypton and the birth of Superman. The childhood of Superman is narrated in the form of memories, which is slightly messy and fragmented. Overall, the storyline is smooth. But the emotional scene between Superman and the female reporter was too simple and abrupt. Without much contact, they began to pull their little hands and kiss their little mouths, as if they were pushed in. Superman's father is a ghost, and the role of Superman's parents on Earth is just right, cultivating Superman's character. At the end of the movie, in the sunset, the little Superman wears a red cloak and plays with the puppy. The parents are watching kindly beside the truck. The shot is very touching.
Director Zack Snyder is the director of "Spartan 300 Warriors" and "Girls Special Forces". His works are generally comic-heavy, and he is good at slow-motion processing of martial arts and stop-motion shots for bloody scenes. But in this Superman, the style has been changed, and the action scenes are mostly fast shots, probably to show that the people from Krypton are fast and destructive. But the action is very simple. You come and go, whether the opponent is a general or an adjutant, it is a repetitive action. In the end, the city's skyscrapers seemed to collapse, and it was very similar to a disaster movie like "2012".
In addition, Nolan, who is best at dark wind, is one of the screenwriters. This version of Superman does not have dark wind, but a little sunshine. The directors and writers may have wanted to create a brand new Superman, and unlike the Superman of the past, they did it, and they did it better. Maybe they took a different route and abandoned their traditional style, but compared with the classics they created, their respective characteristics are very weak.
