If you know your child is gonna die from a rare disease, will you still choose to give birth to her? If you know your husband is gonna leave you, will you still choose to embrace love? If you can see your life throughout, from the beginning to the end, will you choose to change a part?
The technological factor is not so appealing, especially the fantasy of aliens that are either limited to human-like forms or octopus-like structures. On the contrary, it is the film's discussion of thinking and logic, its reflection on cause and effect, and its depiction of simple feelings, which even touches the hearts of moviegoers.
I know all the plots before the beginning, but I still hope to experience every detail of sweetness and regret with all my heart. It is the courage to face the force majeure of fate and the wisdom to accept the vicissitudes of life. At the end of the film, the phrase "true warriors dare to face a bleak life" comes to mind.
