People are always obsessed with their debts. Ending the recollection, Marty and Rust finally returned to reality. Although they are no longer policemen, they will continue to work on unsolved cases. Rust has been investigating for years, and finally found a key clue. In order to find the real murderer, they did everything possible, whether it was legal or illegal. Danger was also approaching, and they were all prepared. The penultimate episode was not as good as before, and the cinematic feel of the shots was weakened, but it just made people hold their breaths and wait for the finale to come.

    I can't stand this half-dead rhythm...

As movies are becoming more and more like propositional composition and American dramas are becoming more and more streamlined, "True Detective" has its own unique texture and only belongs to its own personality. It has a dripping story. The three-act structure of the whole drama is completely the same. A super long movie, the characters' dialogue is very clever, and the two heroes finally draw an arc of charismatic characters. This kind of play is like a work of art, unique and difficult to replicate. ★★★★

True Detective quotes

  • Detective Marty Hart: Do you wonder ever if you're a bad man?

Detective Rust Cohle: No. I don't wonder, Marty. World needs bad men. We keep the other bad men from the door.

  • Detective Rust Cohle: If the only thing keeping a person decent is the expectation of divine reward, then, brother, that person is a piece of shit - and I'd like to get as many of them out in the open as possible.
