"Zodiac", the filming time span of 20 years, the audience experienced the feelings of the characters in the film, from the beginning full of eagerness to solve the case to the final exhaustion and lack of interest. The deciphering of the code and the reports of informants, time and time again, they thought that they were close to the real murderer, either the fingerprints were wrong, or the handwriting was wrong; either the handwriting was wrong, or the fingerprints were wrong.... Finally, the comic reporter locked a suspect. Although the evidence was insufficient, the audience also agreed with it. Later scientific identification, even the DNA was inconsistent, crazy! The case is over, the murderer is at large, and the audience cannot enjoy a happy ending. Life is imperfect, and reality is often full of imperfections.
Documentary style, messy clues, and many complicated names, it is quite difficult to keep up with the first time you read it. If you watch it several times, it seems unnecessary. It is not "Fight Club" after all, and it is worth watching how many times.
