The Clown Returns to Soul (2017 Edition)

I prefer to watch horror movies with depth, rather than simple horror, such as "The Shining", "Mist", "Terrorist Cruise" and so on. And many horror movies are created out of thin air to create some horrors and then they are gone. Although this movie also creates some unscientific horrors out of thin air, "The Clown Returns" allows us to face the horror directly after creating the horror, not a It's over. A lot of horror films may be made to make the audience terrify, but this movie defuses what I call horror.
The reason why people are afraid of some things comes from the unknown. People may be naturally afraid of abnormal things and unknown things. We are worried that the unknown or abnormal things will be different from what we expected after they are "exposed". It may be Injure us or damage our interests, in a word, it is a matter of our interests.
Before he entered the haunted house, Bill stated that he would rather step into the haunted house and face the clown than wake up every day from the nightmare of losing his brother after returning to his home. It reminds me of Horror Cruises because, assuming Bill does come back to his house, he's going to be faced with every day spent in the shadows, like an endless loop.
I have to say that many horror films with female ghosts, zombies and other themes have created a lot of images for people that people could not be afraid of. Fear him like a newborn calf is not afraid of tigers. But with the emergence of these films, there was the so-called "childhood nightmare", and the spread and proliferation of terror... In the film "The Clown Returns", I once identified a "childhood nightmare". Horror" shot and then paused it and found that when I stared at it for a few seconds, it wasn't that scary at all, or not at all.
