What details of "Love Actually" touched you?

The story of the writer and the Portuguese maid takes place in the most poetic place, with the most poetic setting and narrative technique, and it is also one of my favorite stories in the whole film.

The language of love is universal.

If you don't expect the other party to understand, or even don't want to be understood by the other party, when your eyes meet, your mind will be understood.

Just like clearly wanting to avoid each other and walking, but also bumped head-on.

This is love without boundaries and in its purest form.

Especially in the part where the two parties were in the house after the manuscript was retrieved, they spoke their own languages, but their minds were completely the same, and the foreword matched the latter.

I don't know what to say after watching it, but I love it. Although the plot is very bland, it is good to string together these ten representative stories and characters with different styles. Although the story has some unrealistic fantasies, it is very real and has mixed feelings.

Love Actually quotes

  • Colin: America, watch out, here comes Colin Frissell!

[pauses and turns, holding his hands out as if describing a large fish]

Colin: [in a much deeper voice] ... And he's got a big *knob*!

  • Colin: [after insulting the food] And what do you do Nancy?

Nancy the caterer: I'm a cook.

    Colin: Ever do weddings?

Nancy the caterer: Yes I do.

Colin: They should have asked you to do this one.

    Nancy the caterer: They did.

Colin: God I wish you hadn't turned it down.

    Nancy the caterer: I didn't.
