Freedom if you can tell the truth

Finished watching the movie in fragments of night and day

The maid, who was brought up from childhood to adulthood, cried when she was fired. The loving and kind black woman encountered setbacks when the heroine was a child and took care of her in every possible way in her daily life. She gave her spiritual guidance and made the heroine independent. Strong and confident, there are too many commendable things in a simple person. In the end, the book was published, and the two main narrative maids faced their current situation, one of which was thanked, and the other who resisted the little white sheep who was no longer slaughtered by others and listened to the white master's slander and dispatch. The ending song is very Awesome, I searched for it on purpose. It is good that people can seriously think about the inherent reality of inherent relationships.

Mature Hollywood works, black actors are great, but unfortunately the heroine was chosen incorrectly. Many American female writers are mostly tall and thin. Emma is obviously not the kind of girl who writes.

The shots are pretty stable, there are no big surprises and no major faults, but for the subject of race, such an optimistic and sunny angle is still refreshing.

The Help quotes

  • Charlotte Phelan: You know Hilly, if I didn't know any better, I'd say you've been eating too much *pie*.

  • Johnny Foote: Listen, Celia finally told me about the babies. All of them. But I also know that the minute you started working here, she started getting better. You saved her life.

Minny Jackson: You mean, you knew I'd been working here this whole time?

Johnny Foote: Fried chicken and okra the first night? I mean, you all could have at least put some cornpone on the table.

Minny Jackson: No, I can't let you eat no more cornpone, Mr. Johnny.

Johnny Foote: Well, thanks to you, now I've have to let out every pair of pants I own.
