After watching "Venom"

Check out a high-scoring movie of 2018? It's a sci-fi Earth-saving comedy, Venom, a name you can't think of. The movie tells the story of a young scientist who wants to colonize an alien planet and bring back a community of aliens from a rocket sent to an alien planet. During the return process, an accidental community is attached to a person. The community is also looking for opportunities to colonize other planets, and their mission is to colonize and occupy the earth. One of them has been parasitized on the male protagonist several times. Through the male protagonist, he witnessed the bright lights of the earth. Human love and persistence in the truth decided to stay and help him, preventing the beautiful earth from being invaded by alien civilizations. Generally speaking, the plot is relatively simple and easy to understand, but there are not many descriptions of the transformation of Venom's thoughts. The fighting part is very good-looking. Because it is a sci-fi genre, it looks much more enjoyable than real-life fighting. A few feelings, one is to protect the current level of science and technology on the earth, not to do the current things radically. The second feeling is to be a good person. The third feeling is that I haven't seen a light comedy movie for a long time, and I'm still very happy.

Finally, put a picture by the river today. Nothing to do with it, just a normal day.

2.5 / To what extent is the anti-hero anti-hero? Loser can directly decide his life and death if he has supernatural power? It’s Loser on your own planet, so come to the relatively weak earth to rule? In the end, the protagonist returned to the simplest and rude dichotomy of good and evil while clamoring for justice, and also inherited the logic of the villain and the strong. This is not an anti-hero, but a step backwards to anti-intellect. Even the lie of freedom and equality is too lazy to make up, it can be said that it completely matches the spiritual dilemma of the US imperialism. The Hollywood theme is filmed to this extent, in terms of values, it is one step away from "The Richest Man in Xihong City", right?

It's too similar to "Parasitic Beast". Symbiosis, the law of life.

Venom quotes

  • Mrs. Chen: How you doing, Eddie?

Eddie Brock: Ah, aches and pains, you know, aches and pains.

Mrs. Chen: You look like shit.

    Eddie Brock: Excuse me?

Mrs. Chen: You look like shit.

Eddie Brock: And you look as beautiful as ever. Jesus.

Mrs. Chen: Mind is body, Eddie. Have you been meditating like I showed you?

Eddie Brock: No, I have not. And it does not work.

Mrs. Chen: It doesn't work, because you don't give it a chance.

Eddie Brock: No, it doesn't work, because I bought a DVD off your cousin, and it was in Mandarin.

    Mrs. Chen: [speaks Mandarin]

Eddie Brock: Yeah, I don't understand that, either. See, that right there, I don't understand what you just said. That is the problem.

  • Dr. Dora Skirth: Drake is using his personal rockets to scout real estate.

Eddie Brock: You know, it's a really interesting story, but we need to just get to the part where he's killing people.

Dr. Dora Skirth: Drake sent a ship on a recon mission. On the way back, they found a comet.

    Eddie Brock: A comet?

Dr. Dora Skirth: Onboard computers indicated the presence of life, of millions of organisms.

Eddie Brock: Wait, wait, wait, when you say "millions of organisms", what do you mean?

Dr. Dora Skirth: We brought back some specimens.

Eddie Brock: You're talking about aliens? Like, aliens?

    [imitates E.T]

Eddie Brock: E.T. phone home. Aliens, yeah.

Dr. Dora Skirth: Yes. But we don't call them that. Well come them Symbiotes.

    Eddie Brock: Symbiotes?

Dr. Dora Skirth: And they cannot survive in our environment without help. Drake believes that the union between human and Symbiote is the key of our survival, but not here on Earth.

Eddie Brock: Drake is trying to put human beings and aliens together? So they can live in space?

Dr. Dora Skirth: We call them hosts.

Eddie Brock: That's nuts, isn't it? That's completely insane.

Dr. Dora Skirth: Yes. There's no protocol for this thing. He's just feeding them in. If the match isn't exact...
