Can't write short reviews?

Originally, I was swaying aimlessly, but I ended up walking downstairs to the cinema, thinking that since I'm here and I haven't seen a movie for a long time, I want to choose a movie to watch. I went to the fantasy label of The Shape of Water, but the plot is not fantasy at all. The most amazing thing is that it can heal wounds and kill them. When I saw the halfway, I actually wanted to leave early, because the plot never attracted me. Worried that the end time will be too late? I also wonder why I have such anxiety, a large part of the reason is that this movie is so boring for me. I didn't realize the great loneliness. What I'm struggling with is whether the little brother guard died too wrongly? Why can the heroine watch him die calmly, and why should she let others die because of an undead monster? The part where she asks the old man to help is also quite annoying, if you want to save it, go save it, why are you dragging others down!

I regret buying movie tickets a bit, but there seems to be nothing to see recently.

What a childlike and extremely romantic person can write such a story that "all marginalized people can fight against the dark world when they hug together." It's really hard not to be moved. The fish beast is a symbol. He is a mysterious creature, but it is also a vivid person representing the dumb, gay, black, and woman appearing in the movie... In this way, it is inevitable to face the character, but love is really. So beautiful, crying

But if you look at this story as a dark fairy tale, it does not have the elements that are often found in fairy tales. It is only beautiful and romantic enough, with the usual monster complex and fascinating feelings of the director of Gyro. The director's hobbies give this story more interest. The director's style ensures that the film is unique in image and aesthetics. The director's skilled narrative skills ensure that the rhythm of this Hollywood genre is extremely smooth.

The Shape of Water quotes

  • [first lines]

Giles: If I spoke about it - if I did - what would I tell you? I wonder. Would I tell you about the time? It happened a long time ago, it seems. In the last days of a fair prince's reign. Or would I tell you about the place? A small city near the coast, but far from everything else. Or, I don't know... Would I tell you about her? The princess without voice. Or perhaps I would just warn you, about the truth of these facts. And the tale of love and loss. And the monster, who tried to destroy it all.

  • Strickland: You may think, "That thing looks human." Stands on two legs, right? But - we're created in the Lord's image. You don't think that's what the Lord looks like, do you?
