[Part 1] tells that the protagonist Gru planned a perfect plan to steal the moon, but unexpectedly the shrink ray gun that stole the moon was stolen by the new thief Victor. In order to recapture the shrink ray gun, Gru decides to adopt three orphans and use the opportunity they enter to sell cookies in Victor's heavily fortified castle to carry out the story of the theft.

[Part II] It tells the story of the reformed Gru willing to be a full-time dad for his three little adopted daughters. Unexpectedly, a high-secret organization specializing in fighting global crimes came to him.
