Who borrowed whom?

Just finished watching. It's very interesting. The killer played by Tom is very characteristic. He seems to see through life. One is a killer and the other is a taxi driver. After a night of turmoil, the two seem to have many similarities in the end. The last series of rescues did have the shadow of Vincent, but Max's starting point was to save, and Vincent's starting point was to work. At first I didn't understand why the role of the prosecutor was arranged, but at the end I realized that the plot of coincidence is quite interesting.

In addition, Tom's actions are always so handsome.

The first movie that made me fall in love with Michael Mann, and also my favorite...

Vincent is like the lone coyote crossing the city road, dying alone in this indifferent city with his domineering philosophies. And Max, with the shadow of too many ordinary but mediocre people, kind and gentle, has been working for 12 years of "part-time job", and regarded his dreams as an unattainable rest time. "You always think that one day, my dream will come true. Then when you wake up one day, you find that you are old."

Collateral quotes

  • Max: I'm not taking you to see my mother.

Vincent: Since when was any of this negotiable?

  • Felix: Now you're here. Why?

Max: I lost my stuff. The list.

Felix: I want you to listen to me real well. Special groups put together the list of dedos.

    Max: Dedos?

Felix: Fingers, informants. Signal interceptions with voice-recognition software, surveillance. A very expensive counter-intelligence worked up that list. An important list, wouldn't you say? And you lost it?

    Max: Yeah, I'm sorry. Sorry.

Felix: Sorry? 'Sorry' does not put Humpty Dumpty back together again.
