Something that is not understood and recognized by society does not mean that it does not exist.
Whether a true story is adapted or made up, the unexplainable things in reality are not hallucinations. If you have experience, you naturally don’t need anyone to convince yourself. If you don’t know the people and things around you, you will have unexpected discoveries.
Unreal things are not necessarily unreal, and materialism is open to question. Human cognition is limited after all. Everyone is convinced that the theory of evolution is reasonable because there is not enough reason to doubt its flaws for the time being. No one can prove that the paranormal phenomenon is unreasonable.
Do we have to doubt the existence of the exorcist?

After the doctor repeatedly checked the cause and the treatment had no effect, the mother gradually found that her daughter was actually haunted by demons, so she invited an exorcist to exorcise the demon at the doctor's suggestion... This plot reminds me of the sentence that the uncle next door once said " Seven points depend on science, and three points depend on superstition.” The slow narrative rhythm of the movie reminds me of "The Shining". Personally, what I think is more exciting is the process of the exorcism ceremony "The power of Christ compels you!", but even if the story is the same as "The Conjuring" As an atheist, I am still skeptical that it is based on real events.

For me who is atheist, it is not exciting enough. Far worse than the shining
