I just feel sad

Looking at the title and introduction, I thought it was a thriller, but I felt very sad when I saw that I was less scared in the end, especially when Nicole took up the gun to protect the two children.

Originally, I only thought this character was neurotic, but it gradually overlapped with my mother later. In fact, it is a paradox. It is both realistic and shows some innocence from time to time, fragile and very strong in the face of adversity. The only thing that goes through is paranoia, paranoid love, and paranoid belief in one thing. Paranoia is actually too much attachment, tenacity because of attachment, unwilling to believe in reality because of too much attachment, unwilling to wake up from the dream we weaved. But when such a person emerges from this paranoia and recognizes the reality, they will quickly pick themselves up with great perseverance and amazing resilience, and devote themselves to new obsessions and new pursuits.

What we fear may be ourselves; what we avoid may be the truth.

Maybe what we are afraid of is ourselves, what we are running from, maybe the truth. Maybe the director wanted to set off the second half, so he made the first half drowsy. The second half hour is the essence of the movie, the essence of the thriller. Long time no Watching such a "nutritious" thriller~ The dumb little maid turned out to be Miss Maud~ Nicole Kidman is gorgeous + amazing!
