Gus, a cowardly man who dreamed of being a postman, turned into a policeman by mistake, and was stripped of his police badge, and finally became a postman; as a policeman, he stopped the speeding killer but was scared off by harsh words. As a postman, he was able to shoot the killer several times in a row.
Lester is cowardly by nature. He has been bullied by Bully since high school, and has not improved since he became an adult. He still gets his nose broken on the street. In the end, he was thoughtful and took every step of the way, from framing his younger brother to fighting the killer one-on-one, and finally breaking one of the killer's legs. Probably not an insurer, but a killer.
Like Breaking bad, it's a story about growing up. There are thousands of growth trajectories, and we all want to grow into what we dream of. But the role of various external factors makes this process extremely dramatic. If you want to be a world champion, you are writing materials in front of your computer. If you want to be a scientist, you are typing codes hard, just like a policeman who wants to be a postman who shoots tremblingly but hits the wrong target.
