The costumes are beautiful, the soundtrack is exquisite, and the plot is not slow, but two and a half hours is still torturous enough. If you want to streamline a story, you can delete more than half.

What is the name of the person making the specimen? What is the name of Monica? What do you do with the role of a veterinarian and that crazy woman (in the pre-Revolution era, to prove that they were oppressed people and participate in secret associations?)? Manny likes that crazy woman? Why did you finally suspect people who dressed like primitive tribesmen (I didn't see these people as having problems when I hunted for the first time? Who are these people? Farmers? Hunters? Where do they come and go?)? What's the point of drastically rendering the plot of the brothel (just to make Monica Lulu? I really can't stand the half-lady hero who said he loved Marianne and went to prostitutes)? Who killed that crazy woman? Or is there more than one crazy woman? What does it mean to render this brother in love with his sister? Who is that satin and what is the relationship with their family? What a mess!
