This film is a classic American school film, and it is still very funny now. The male protagonist is born to be the kind of person that everyone loves. He skips school not because he is playful, but because he accepts what he is more interested in. Such an idea applies to all ages. The lines of this film are classic, just pick one incisive: I do have a test today, that wasn't bullshit. It's on European socialism. I mean, really, what's the point? I'm not European. I don' t plan on being European. So who gives a crap if they're socialists? They could be fascist anarchists, it still doesn't change the fact that I don't own a car.

The American people in the 1980s lived so freely. This kind of film is really nothing but jealous. If you always fail to skip class, you should learn from him carefully.

    Grace: Her grandmother, too.

    Ed Rooney: You pinhead.

Sloane: [sobbing] If you need to reach us, we'll be at the following number...
