The film reveals a strong fairy tale color, with an exaggerated and funny performance, telling the story of the escape of an orphan Sam, who is considered to be emotionally disturbed, and Suzy, a "problem child" who is considered to be violent. Both of them are full of despair about their respective lives, so they plan an escape. After learning that the two were missing, instructor Ward led the Boy Scouts and the island's police officer Sharp to find Sam, and Susie's parents kept looking for Susie. The adults believed that the two children were the source of all problems, and thus launched the redemption of the children. Even after being caught, the two children still have the idea of searching for freedom and defecting. With the help of the Boy Scouts, the two escaped again. Ultimately, the defection ended in the adoption of Sam by the police. In the process, children lead adults to look at the world again, and adults gradually let go of hypocrisy and regain the ability to love.
