Looking at this at night, my heart is still a little hairy.
The marionette at the beginning of the film is strange and full of life. Its struggle and desire may be projecting something in people's hearts. The second half started to open up, and I had to sigh the rich imagination of the screenwriter. A movie from 1999, 21 years ago, is not outdated at all now, so it's called a classic.
I don't understand the charm of Maxine in it. Generally speaking, I don't like any of the characters in it. The orangutan is quite good, and it is human at the critical moment.
Heaven is good for reincarnation, maybe this movie teaches us that the world is huge and full of wonders, everything is temporary, happy and unhappy, you never know which soul will enter your body in the next moment.
