Boring, just code it.

The transformation of character relationships is subtle, but less suspenseful.

The editing is clean, but lacks a bit of aura.

It shouldn't be called "Insomnia", it should be called "Chasing the Murderer in the White Night".

It shouldn't be Nolan's, it should be Cohen's.

Al Pacino and Robin held up the entire script.

The foreshadowing of the ending appeared too early, and it was too straightforward, resulting in the ending being too boring. To be precise, this is more like a mainstream drama film with a little psychological suspense.

Done.

The mediocre work in Nolan’s works is not just because the script was not written by their brothers. Perhaps Nolan, who is good at cross-narratives, did not have the right appetite for this one-way narrative film. It can also be guessed that Nolan’s transition to a commercial film was released in the summer. Although not as good as independent works, it also laid the foundation for the later Dark Knight series. Pacino’s flashback and the reversal of the second half of the dialogue between him and the innkeeper can still see Nolan’s skill, three and a half stars.

Losing the principle is like lying, and it's out of control. PS This is the least Nolan flavor.
