I just saw the name of the movie "Whip it" and I felt confused again. whip? and it? Looking at Ellen on the trailer playing the roller regardless of parental objections, how can this not make me think of what an action, or a symbol, whip it is?
After watching the film, I still didn’t understand Its meaning. But I understand why I find it difficult to recognize verbs such as "whip". When I watched their game, Hurl Scot's movements made me dizzy. I found that I don't know how to whip at all, and I don't dare to smash and throw a hit to others. why? Bliss didn't understand either, but she told me the answer. Because you are not aggressive enough, tough enough, let alone being ruthless. Indeed, I couldn't understand the scene where they were fighting inside. The strange thing is that they are still very happy. On the contrary, I am very familiar with pageant. Isn't the beauty pageant just "smile", then "make a nice speech", then "claim your crown"?
In most cases, being nice is so simple, but being ruthless is so difficult. Being ruthless turned out to be a choice. After finally making up my mind and making myself ruthless, I realized that ruthless feels really good. But others are upset and dissatisfied with you, because you are not nice now. With all the regrets and rascals, the only way to let others know "you are really into this" makes people believe that you are ruthless but still happy.
When you feel like you are an underdog or don’t even know who you are, no matter what others say, don’t hesitate to try to find yourself. Only by being nice or being ruthless, and being...in the end can you BE YOURSELF. If the
beauty pageant fails, then step on the roller! As for what Whip it means, I only really understand after I try to be ruthless.
