What are the highlights of "Hereditary Doom" compared to other similar horror films?

Because I am majoring in directing, I want to talk about the horror movie "Hereditary Doom"

(In order to ensure the viewing experience, this film review does not add any pictures to avoid discomfort)

I just finished watching "Hereditary Doom" tonight. After watching it, I only have one feeling: I especially want to send a circle of friends to remind my friends not to watch (just kidding)

Because after watching it, you will really go limp!

In order to write this review, I watched several scenes several times (sounds perverted), but it is enough to illustrate the beauty and talent of its shots and editing!

(The following movie reviews are only provided to those who have seen it, and those who haven't seen it, just go to the movie first~ I won't give any spoilers)

After watching many scenes over and over again and again, I also temporarily feel a little perverted. For example, at the beginning, the little girl's head was cut off by a tree. In addition to feeling scary and distressed, it is more typical of the admiration for the ingenious conception of this clip. Action editing and perspective editing are at least 6 scenes in just one shot:

1. The younger sister opened the window and stuck her head out 2. She encountered a roadblock while driving and turned sharply 3. The younger sister looked in horror 4. The tree stump 5. The younger sister was horrified 6. The younger sister was knocked off her head

In such a short few moments, it gave me an immersive view of myself, the perspective of seeing her being hit, the immersiveness of the scene, the precision of the editing, and the sudden degree of horror, which made me make the same expression as Charlie: keep my eyes wide open for a long time dare not speak

The picture of my brother lying on the bed and fading out, we can easily guess that he stayed up all night and faded out, let us imagine how he spent the longest night in his life. His expression was always dull until his mother found his sister. The corpse Charlie's expression is as nervous as he's been hit by something because he understands what his mother sees: the headless corpse of his sister

When my mother found my sister's body, it was a typical sound and picture separation. Only my brother's terrified eyes and my mother's roaring outside the picture. We didn't see what the sister's body was like.

- but we will have unlimited imagination at this time terror is not in our eyes but in our hearts

There is also a very good shot of the burial of my sister's coffin. It is not a far away shot of a group of people crying, but the shot is immersive as the coffin descends inch by inch. I think it also means that more than one person died

Another moment that scared me to close my eyes was when Charlie was sleeping and suddenly saw his dead sister staring at him and suddenly his head fell off. It's been many years since no horror movie could scare me to cover my face (watching the audience here) Be mentally prepared)

Dad has always been the family's last support and reason. As a result, Mom had no intention of leaving the family without the last spiritual support after Dad set himself on fire. It's like life will only suffer from unimaginable things.

Also, when my brother Charlie finally checked the room to see if there was any danger or ghosts, my mother was crawling on the wall deformed. This also scared me. I can't even look back in the room. Maybe it will be better in a few days...

This is the first time I write a review of a horror movie. I personally maintain a neutral attitude towards horror movies, but I am limited to my personal favorites. I will not recommend horror movies to family and friends because I always hope that they will see positive and sunny things. Scare them - but! Genetic doom is different!

After reading it, I want to live a good life, cherish everything I have now, and cherish the people I love who love me, so I recommend it to everyone on the premise that it is really scary to have a mental preparation

Overall, this movie is a bit boring in the first half, but the back is simply scaring me out of the body and hereditary doom completely conquered me with its superbly realistic graphics and immersive editing.

I recommend it to everyone here if it is helpful and honored

A 9.3-point horror movie... This should be the crown horror movie, right? See you for a long time...

Maybe all the wonderful clips are in the trailer. The first hour of the two-hour feature film is basically grinding, and the next hour gradually turns to the old road of cults. Some clips lack logic and narrative rhythm. It's compact, and the suspense that was raised in the front has been dissipated in the back. It can be said that the performance of the actors is wonderful, but the story is really not that good. If a film is interpreted in great detail by the audience, but you are not watching the film. Feeling these, it shows that there is still a problem with the film's narrative. You can't expect the audience to make up the plot logic if the script is not satisfactory, right?

Hereditary quotes

  • Charlie: Who's gonna take care of me?

Annie: Uh, excuse me? You don't think I'm gonna take care of you?

    Charlie: But when you die?

  • Peter: You okay, Mom?

    Annie: What?

Peter: Is there something on your mind?

Annie: Is there something on *your* mind?

Peter: Just seems like there... might be something you... wanna say.

    Steve: Peter.

Annie: Like what? I mean, why would I wanna say something so I can watch you sneer at me?

Peter: Sneer at you? I don't ever sneer at you.

Annie: Oh, sweetie, you don't have to. You get your point across.

Peter: Okay, so, fine, then say what you wanna say, then.

    Steve: Peter.

Annie: I don't wanna say anything. I've tried saying...

Peter: Okay, so try again. Release yourself.

Annie: Oh, release you, you mean?

Peter: Yeah, fine, release me, just say it! Just fucking say it!

Annie: DON'T you swear at me, you little shit! Don't you EVER raise your voice at me! I am your mother! You understand? All I do is worry and slave and defend you, and all I get back is that fucking face on your face! So full of disdain and resentment and always so annoyed! Well, now your sister is dead! And I know you miss her and I know it was an accident and I know you're in pain and I wish could take that away for you. I WISH I could shield you from the knowledge that you did what you did, but you're sister is dead! She's gone forever! And what a waste... if it could've maybe brought us together, or something, if you could've just said "I'm sorry" or faced up to what happened, maybe then we could do something with this, but you can't take responsibility for anything! So, now I can't accept. And I can't forgive. Because... because NOBODY admits anything they've done!
