As always, watching Hannibal still suffocates me, those horrific scenes. For me, the most intriguing part of this movie and the most difficult part for me is without a doubt when Hannibal executes someone. The combination of grace and brutality in the execution of others has a dark and twisted beauty, and it is also very tasteful. And whether Hannibal was sure that Stalin would come to save him and was arrested, or was he careless, I prefer to believe the former. Hannibal should have wanted to see Stalin come to his rescue, thus satisfying his special affection for Stalin.
