Aside from the scenes and special effects, and a little suspense, everything else is disappointing.
In fact, this story is a very good one. It tells about the trauma caused by the war, and why you fought. Unfortunately, the director did not put enough effort into this depth.
So the protagonist becomes a fool who can transform into Bumpman and Time Trooper for the beauty... In
addition, there is the invincible, bubbling and bluffing messenger of Sern, my God, this is a science fiction story after all, Still a fairy tale!

Alas, the routine of the whole story is completely like a sci-fi movie in the 1970s, Heroes and Beauty... Is the director paying tribute to sci-fi in the 1970s?

not bad. The plot behind the scenes is a highlight

The barely passing film, with too much preparation in front, is very boring to watch. It’s still a bit interesting to watch it slowly. After all, the cost is so big, the special effects and a few war scenes are pretty dazzling, and at the end, the game that was set at the beginning is rounded back. The 3D effect is still not obvious.

John Carter quotes

  • John Carter: I claim the right of challenge!

Tal Hajus: You have no right to challenge! You are not Thark!

Tars Tarkas: He is Thark! He is Dotar Sojat!

Sola: Dotar Sojat! Dotar Sojat! Dotar Sojat!

[the crowd of Tharks start to chanting Dotar Sojat, Tal Hajus leaps towards Carter and as Carter leaps up he kills Tal Hajus in mid-air with his sword]

  • John Carter: The Jeddak of Zodanga means to quash Helium this very night, and if Helium falls, so does Barsoom. We must throw out the thought of old hatreds. Tharks did not cause this, but by Issus, Tharks will end it! We ride for Zodanga!
