curiosity kills the cat!

From having VCRs to VCDs to later downloading from the Internet, I have watched dozens of "ghost movies" from childhood to adulthood. Especially when I was a teenager, this type of movie is my favorite. For a period of time, I even watched movies in my own atmosphere. I chose to watch it by myself in the middle of the night, but when I went to bed after watching it, I felt that as long as I opened my eyes, I would I saw "what", so I changed this "bad hobby" later!

In my opinion, there are two main types of "ghosts" in movies: one is "real", which people can see and touch, and ghosts can cause physical damage to people! The other is illusory, completely your imagination. Ghosts will affect people’s brain waves, and seeing some illusory images will affect people’s behavior. The found corpses may jump off the building, frighten to death, or even strangle themselves to death. ...

The ghosts in this movie are obviously more of the latter, but after the protagonist was rescued, he listened to the recording but heard the voice of his deceased daughter. Obviously, the former also existed!

Finally, I want to say that the first male is a typical curiosity that killed the cat. He thought he was very bold, but he couldn't stand it as soon as he hung up the dots. He wanted to quit but found that it was too late...

  • Mike Enslin: [describing the room] There's a sofa, a writing desk, faux antique armoire, floral wallpaper. Carpet's unremarkable except for a stain beneath a thrift-store painting of a schooner lost at sea. The work is done in the predictably dull fashion of Currier and Ives. The second painting is of an old woman reading bedtime stories - a Whistler knockoff - to a group of deranged children while another Madonna and child watch from the background. It does have the vague air of menace. The third and final, painfully dull painting, the ever popular "The Hunt". Horses, hounds and constipated British lords. Some smartass spoke about the banality of evil. If that's true, then we've in the 7th circle of hell.

  • Mike Enslin: [talk into tape recorder] Hotels are a naturally creepy place... Just think, how many people have slept in that bed before you? How many of them were sick? How many... died?
