Can God explain what we can't explain?

As an atheist, religious horror movies never really frighten me. But this movie based on a true story really made me linger a bit, and it didn't make me think: Can all the supernatural events in this world be explained by religion?

The film is based on a true story, and I don't want to dwell on the authenticity of this story, because I think there must be something in this world that we can't explain. But must these things be a matter of religion, as the Warrens say in the archetypal story? I don't think so.

Religion can indeed save people, just like Jean Valjean in Les Misérables, faith saved his life; religion can also harm people, like those Catholic priests who molested children. The reason for this is that religion itself is something created by man. Wouldn't it be a joke to use something created by man to explain something that man cannot explain?

What cannot be explained is explained by religion. That is what human beings did hundreds or even thousands of years ago. Now it is the 21st century. Although science cannot explain everything, religion cannot.

4 Horror films without sequelae, the thrill of being shocked at first glance [have been scared four times] is only in these two hours, but I think it is still a little longer, and the rhythm can be a little faster. Wen Ziren's signature fancy lens is quite a lot, and there are many bright spots.

Horror movies are still good in the daytime, but it is really self-abuse watching at night... I think the first one is actually more scary, but there are not many horror movies that have such a plot and story. In the end, the demon dealt with it faster, and it was solved by calling the name.

The Conjuring 2 quotes

  • Janet Hodgson: [referring to the demon] It said it wants to hurt you.

Lorraine Warren: When did it say that?

    Janet Hodgson: Right now.

  • Ed Warren: [when Lorraine doesn't comment on his painting] I know I'm no Picasso, but I didn't think it was *that* bad.
