There are 2 versions of this movie, and there are 2 versions in the original Blu-ray disc, and there are many differences.
There are 2 largest.
One is that the male protagonist has always wanted to change to a better-paying position. As a result, the black boss told him that he recommended the male protagonist, but the position was given to someone who was not as skilled as him but was born in the Federation and has many connections (we call it A version here). In another version (version B), the federal government came to the company and asked the employees of the colony to sign the document.
Second, at the end, the male protagonist lifted the gauze on his arm to check the seal but found that there was none. The hostess asked him what was wrong, and he looked up at the memory code advertisement of the tall building in the distance. The B version is that the male protagonist looks up at the advertisement, and the female protagonist asks if you are okay. Didn't check the seal scene.
The biggest difference between these two leads to the conclusion that the male protagonist lives in memory (Ending A) or in reality (Ending B), and the director gave us both endings.
If you look at the A version, then the A ending makes sense. The B version reaches the B ending.
As for some people who say that the female protagonist shot the male protagonist (black friends came to persuade there), in both versions, the female protagonist finally put down the gun. (In addition, from the plot point of view, it is impossible for the female protagonist to shoot the male protagonist here.)
Many people say that the director fixed the ending and there is no open ending like Pirates of Dreams,
But the Blu-ray specially put 2 versions, and the director gave us the right to decide whether the male protagonist lives in memory or reality.
That's not bad, isn't it? You don't have to repeatedly discuss what's going on, you can just decide for yourself which one is true.
It can be said that this is the enjoyment that you can only enjoy when you buy a Blu-ray disc (of course, you can enjoy it when you get there~
