Speak their language and naturally draw their minds towards them

During the rare school "Challenge Cup" holiday, I spent three days chasing this drama all at once. It can be said that I like it very much. The rhythm is neither fast nor slow, always exciting. There are both exciting reasoning and solving cases, and rigorous exploration of academic discussions. Overall, if you don't feel uncomfortable with some of the slightly bloody scenes in the play, it's still worth watching. In this show, Agent Ford's belief is basically: "I'm using their language to lead them to speak, and then based on this model to catch more bad guys, I'm using them." Therefore, frequently Talking and contacting some criminals with twisted psychology did not bring him the same discomfort as Agent Tench. He even felt comfortable with it. But in fact, in the process, the bottom line that he can accept is gradually lowering, which is reflected in removing some words from the list of sensitive words, having wilder sex with his girlfriend, and using some vulgar language when interrogating prisoners. The conversations with the criminals are subtly affecting his attitude in life and work. Although he denies it, the result is obvious. Along with the language, his thoughts became closer to the criminals, and he didn't realize this with horror until the end, and Campbell's embrace pierced the deepest part of his heart. The research they conducted was not only a revolution for criminal investigations, but also the lives of the protagonists. Ford's change caused him and his girlfriend to drift apart and quarreled constantly; Tench became very sensitive, and he also missed some positions in the family because of running around, causing his wife's dissatisfaction and his children's inability to get close; Carl was even more so. Abandoned all the stability of Boston.

Change always affects those who change first. Looking forward to the second season.

Surprisingly, this is an academic story XD? I love the first half more, I just can't stop. Bill's I'm-too-old-for-this-shit face, Holden's geek-type dumb, Wendy's academic boss, and the sharpness of his Ph.D. girlfriend, the four are like four extremes but hold up the whole play, the villains explain creepy in place. The light and lens are also beautiful. I think it's wonderful to see a part of Chinatown reborn in David Fincher's mind.

It's not the kind of drama with high IQ to solve cases, it's very anti-routine. When people watch crime movies, they always focus on "who is the murderer", and even use "can you guess who the murderer is" to judge the quality of a movie. In fact, we not only need to know who the murderer is, but also why he did it and what his motives were. "Mind Hunter" adopts a semi-documentary approach and is adapted from real serial killers and real crime events in history, allowing the audience to follow the protagonist's footsteps and enter the inner world of serial killers, an experience that is felt in other crime films not reach. The character of the police is important, as is the character of the criminal. The villains in many movies are very face-to-face, and they are villains for the sake of being a villain. In contrast, each criminal in "Mind Hunter" has a completely different background, experience, character, and thought, but it is completely tenable. The "Principal" episodes were so deep. You know he has the potential to commit a crime, but you can't catch him before he commits a crime. The same is true in reality. To catch a bad guy, you have to wait for him to commit a crime.
