Surprisingly, this is an academic story XD? I love the first half more, I just can't stop. Bill's I'm-too-old-for-this-shit face, Holden's geek-type dumb, Wendy's academic boss, and the sharpness of his Ph.D. girlfriend, the four are like four extremes but hold up the whole play, the villains explain creepy in place. The light and lens are also beautiful. I think it's wonderful to see a part of Chinatown reborn in David Fincher's mind.
