Rise of the Planet of the Apes 3: Thought-provoking, but one step away from greatness

"Rise of the Planet of the Apes" is a set of anti-human movies that can no longer be anti-human. The first one is very anti-human, the second one is quite anti-human, and the third one is extreme: the director simply let all the humans appearing in the film die. There is only one little girl who can't tell whether she is a human or an ape. However, such an anti-human movie can make you watch it quietly in the movie theater, and after watching it, you can still sigh with emotion: Humans are really scary! Then the movie was a success.

After watching Rise of the Planet of the Apes 3, I can guarantee that you will have deep doubts about such things as human nature. What exactly is human nature? Is it human nature to have wisdom, to think, and to have emotions? Isn't the chimpanzee, which mutates and possesses high intelligence after being infected by the simian flu virus, also human? Or is it that only what exists in the human body is called human nature? But what humans do in the movie makes people feel that they are so far away from "humanity".

The harshest environment can test the truest human nature. "Rise of the Planet of the Apes 3" outlines a future that is close to the end of mankind. The ape flu swept through, and most of the humans died, but a small percentage of humans survived. Orangutans were able to mutate and begin to develop high intelligence and even learn to speak. However, for this mutated species, humans are afraid that they will one day replace themselves, so they will do everything to kill them. But what's wrong with the orangutans themselves? Isn't the source of the virus still the failure of human scientific experiments? Is it fair to turn around and exterminate other species because of one's own failures?

The orangutan group headed by Caesar has always tried to live in harmony with humans, releasing reconciliation messages many times. But the human army did not stop because of this, and was bent on destroying them. They not only killed orangutans, but also their own kind: when they found that their own kind was infected with ape flu and lost the ability to speak and think, they immediately shot and killed them brutally. Compared to the cruelty and ruthlessness of humans, orangutans are more affectionate and friendly. What is even more thought-provoking is that the human colonel explained that killing the same kind is to protect other people and protect humanity. Humanity can be preserved by sacrificing humanity.

As a member of the human race, it is difficult to stand on the human side when watching a movie, but instead sympathize with the orangutan. Humans tortured or enslaved or slaughtered orangutans. Because of his own greed and uncontrolled use of science and technology, the outbreak of the simian flu virus was caused. Humans will have to face the revolt of their abusive orangutan groups, the bitter fruit of their own planting. However, even so, most orangutans are willing to let go of their hatred and live in harmony with humans. However, humans have disrupted their peaceful lives time and time again. Humans are like savage dictators, and orangutans are rebel fighters who fight for survival.

This movie can leave people thinking more than that, such as how to live on an equal footing with other creatures in nature, how to be cautious about the increasingly developed science and technology, how to restrain emotions and let go of hatred ... In short, this is a sufficient film A thought-provoking film, if it weren't for the flaw at the end of the film, it would be enough to make a name for itself in film history.

At the end of the film (slight spoiler here), the human army and another human army come to destroy them in a deadly duel, while not forgetting to slaughter the orangutan. During the artillery fire, humans put a large can of flammable and explosive materials exposed on the open space.

You should be able to guess what happens next.

However, can such intelligent human beings be able to live in the end times?
