A Separation evaluation action

"A Separation" intertwined family ethics at the personal level and class differences at the social level, showing the barriers and conflicts between the relatively wealthy and westernized middle class in contemporary Iranian society and the labor class with low education and still observing religious regulations.
The film uses calm and objective narrative techniques to show the living conditions of contemporary Iranians with caring lens language. It seems to be only telling the story of a family. It essentially alludes to the status quo of the entire Iranian society. The entanglement between law, tradition and modernity is vividly manifested.
The topics discussed in the film are more closely related to the lives of ordinary people: the conflict between love and family affection, whether to leave the father suffering from dementia to go abroad, employers and maids suspicion between each other, family conflicts under broken marriages, lack between parents and children Trust, etc., these can resonate with the audience.
