Allied evaluation action

The intention of the film is to tell the bad news of a tangled agent Max. He can face danger in war, but loses reason and judgment when dealing with love. There are too many loopholes in the story of the film. How the heroine Marianne became a Nazi is unclear, the emotional tension between the hero and the heroine is too much, and the use of spy elements is a bit simplistic. As a spy film, it is too short, with too little ink, and tends to show off its skills; as a romance film, it is a cliché. Finally, the highlight of the movie is the clothing. Each set of clothing has a strong sense of design through the hands of the designer, full of the gorgeousness and luxury of the 1940s.
When the plot of the spy warfare conspiracy of the film progresses towards an unjustified ending, everything seems less open, but rather pre-set.
"Spy League" is a qualified film, but it is very frustrating, because the film can be a great film, but it fails to avoid its own shortcomings.
"Spy League" has never been able to set a coherent tone. It started as a steady spy blockbuster, stumbled into a stylized war blockbuster, and finally reduced to a marriage feature film.
Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard’s couple is totally unconvincing, although Marion still works harder than Pete. The director is very good at changing tricks, the sandstorm hits, but the protagonist gets lost in it.

Allied quotes

  • Max Vatan: [to Hunter, going into action] Who are you thinking about?

    Captain Adam Hunter: My mother.

Max Vatan: Don't. Think about your father.

  • Max Vatan: What are you doing?

Marianne Beausejour: [blouse unbuttoned] Testing you. The way you tested me. I know you're armed with a weapon, Mr. Vatan, I'm just checking your safety catch is engaged.

    Max Vatan: [scoffs]

Marianne Beausejour: There, we had our first fight. Now we're okay then, yes?

Max Vatan: Marianne, we both know people fucked each other, and they fucked up, and now they're fucking dead.

Marianne Beausejour: Well, that's a lot of fucks.

Max Vatan: Fasten your goddamn buttons.

Marianne Beausejour: [buttoning her blouse] Actually, Max, the mistakes people make in these situations isn't fucking. It's a feeling.
