In many World War II movies I have seen, the Soviet army has always been the representative of the justice side, but "Anonyma-Eine Frau in Berlin" has completely subverted this impression-the positive image of being brave and good at fighting and defending the country.
Faced with women who were raped or gang-raped and killed or committed suicide during the war, Germany and the Soviet Union have always kept secret of this historical fact. This seems understandable, because it is a shame for the Germans and a criminal prosecution for Russia. War is a social without dignity. When the film shows the brutality of the Soviet army, the audience can still appreciate the director's prudence and reflection. In many parts of the film, when the Soviet army's retaliatory madness is shown, it intentionally or unintentionally tells whether the Nazis have done anything in Russia through the mouths of those involved or outsiders. The most ruthless is only more ruthless. As an audience, I can neither simply sympathize with the innocence of Berlin women, nor can I experience the joy of revenge by the Soviets. The inner complexity is beyond words   .
