Baahubali: The Beginning production process

"Baahubali: The Beginning" is the most expensive film in Indian film history. In order to bring the legendary life of King Baahubali to the big screen, director SS Rajamouli led his team for two and a half years. Efforts to produce scripts, costumes and art designs. Including more than 25 artists, they have drawn more than 10,000 conceptual drawings to lay the foundation for filming. At the same time, in order to restore the magnificent Baahubali Palace, the film crew used 1,000 manpower every day on a 200-acre vacant land to build a 1:1 ratio of the Moses Shimerdi Palace and many giant scenes. During the shooting of war scenes, the crew produced costumes and weapons for more than 1,000 people, enough to open a museum exhibition hall. Only one war scene took 120 days, 2,000 extras were used, and the actual filming time was as long as one year
. It took 4 years for the film to be prepared from pre-production to post-production. Due to the use of a large number of complicated costumes and weapons, the film crew also plans to establish a museum of these weapons and costumes in Hyderabad
