Elenaand Vladimirare an old couple, they come from different backgrounds. Vladimir is very rich and a cold-blooded man; Elena grew up in a kind environment and is a submissive wife. They met in their later years and each had a child in their previous marriage. Elena's son is unemployed at home. He is unable to support his family and keeps asking Elena for money. Vladimir's daughter is an indifferent young girl who is estranged from her father. Because of a heart attack, Vladimir was admitted to the hospital, knowing he was running out of time. After a brief but tender reunion with his daughter, Vladimir made a major decision: his daughter will become the heir to all his property. After returning home, Vladimir announced his decision to Elena. Elena's hopes of supporting her son financially suddenly vanished. The once introverted and humble housewife came up with a plan to give her son and grandson a real chance in life.

The super-long footage made time stand still. . The economy is enough to expose the evil side of human nature. Class conflicts and the contrast between the rich and the poor fill the entire film. The soundtrack is too high-pitched, making you worry in the dull picture!

A special award for the attention jury (a kind of attention is so strong in 2011!!). Is this...Russian version of [Parasite]? Hahahaha, class issues come first, and political metaphors come later (dividing inheritance or something, it's too straightforward...), the filming is so neat that it is full of craftsmanship. Sarkinseff must know the poor very well, and the rich... It's not easy to say that both classes rely on stereotypes, which is really a bit greasy. (Is the mansion in the movie the type of room the woman lived in after remarrying in [No Love Can Sue]... It feels like). The main problem is that the point of view is not very particular, and the middle is inexplicably transferred to the old man's side (isn't it just for the gym segment), which is quite a jump, and it is probably the excellent performance of the heroine. It's normal to be relegated to a concern.
