Elenaand Vladimirare an old couple, they come from different backgrounds. Vladimir is very rich and a cold-blooded man; Elena grew up in a kind environment and is a submissive wife. They met in their later years and each had a child in their previous marriage. Elena's son is unemployed at home. He is unable to support his family and keeps asking Elena for money. After returning home, Vladimir announced his decision to Elena. Elena's hopes of supporting her son financially suddenly vanished.
