Jackie Dinosio, nicknamed "Fat Jack", is a notorious member of the Italian-American Mafia. At the age of 48, he was finally sent to federal court. The prosecution exerted tremendous pressure on him, hoping that he could become a tainted witness and give evidence of more criminal gang leaders. Dinosio knew the seriousness of the matter. Out of various interest considerations, he made a decision to die, and gave up the help of a lawyer, and single-handedly defended himself in court. The entire litigation process lasted for 2 years. Dinosio did not confess to the other boss, was not assassinated, and even successfully defeated the prosecutor to obtain a shorter sentence.
