Forks Over Knives background creation

What happened to us? Despite the most advanced medical technology in the world, almost every scale is used to measure that we have more diseases than ever before. Two out of every three of us are overweight, and the number of diabetes cases is increasing, especially among our young people. Nearly half of us are taking at least one prescription drug. Major medical operations have become routine, pushing medical insurance costs to an extremely high level. Although billions of dollars are spent every year to "fight" with these symptoms, heart disease, cancer, and stroke are still the three leading causes of death in the United States, and millions of people suffer from many degenerative diseases. Can there be a single solution to all these problems? It's incredible that such a comprehensive but absolutely simple solution is not taken seriously by more people?
The film examines the profound claims-if we reject our current menu of animal-based and processed foods, most, if not all, the so-called "prosperity disease" that afflicts us can be controlled and even reversed.
The film was shot all over the United States, Canada and China.

In fact, I said one point: eating meat is not good for vegetarians. The argumentation process is a bit loose and flat. It's a bit like the way the public account is written now.

The content is a bit lengthy, but Message itself is worth 5 stars! A whole food plant based diet is the king of healthy living. It was only after I saw that "Eating meat has protein, drinking milk gets calcium" These are all propaganda that began in the United States decades ago, and they are also the beginning of their obesity and other health problems. I decided to eat less of these and share them with those who love me and my love!

Forks Over Knives quotes

  • [first lines]

Diane Sawyer: The average American now carries around 23 extra pounds.

Jim Hooker: Heart disease and stroke will claim the lives of 460,000 American women...

Ben Tracy: ...69 grams of fat - you could actually save 12 grams of the fat and half the calories if you simply ate an entire stick of butter.

Billl Sardi: We're talking about diabetes and hypertension, and bones diseases, osteoporosis...

Dr. Holly Phillips: Prostate cancer is now the most common cancer in American men.

reporter: Doctors say we really need to eat less red and processed meat.

Billl Sardi: ...and arterial sclerosis, and cancer, and auto-immune disease

Richard Carmona: We have unprecedented amount of type 2 diabetes in our children, and we're starting to see hypertension in our children in grammar school.

  • Doug Lisle: Primarily two things are the cause of that. Those to things are food and sex. So in the case of a great white shark, it's basically got a neon sign flashing across its forehead saying, food, sex, food, sex, food, sex. Unless it's a male, then it's sex, food, sex, food.
