Furious 7 shooting process

On April 23, 2013, Wen Ziren, the creator of the "Chain Saw" series, decided to direct "Fast and Furious 7". At the end of August, the film was scheduled to be shot in Colorado in September. The Pikes Peak Expressway near Colorado will be partially closed between September 3 and September 4. Between September 5 and September 10, the entire Pikes Peak Expressway will be closed to provide convenient conditions for filming. On December 5, 2013, Universal issued a statement due to the unexpected death of Paul Walker. The crew will temporarily stop the filming and production of "Fast and Furious 7".
On March 25, 2014, Universal Pictures announced that the film will resume shooting in Abu Dhabi in April. Director Wen Ziren will bring the creator Van Diesel and others to the location for shooting. On April 15, 2014, Universal Pictures officially announced that Paul Walker's two younger brothers, Cody Walker and Caleb Walker, will act as his stand-in, completing the part of "Fast and Furious 7" that he had not finished filming before his death. On July 11, 2014, the crew of "Fast and Furious 7" announced on the official website that the film had been filmed for 10 months and officially ended.
